Marta Galimany breaks the Catalan 10Km record in the B100 Cursa dels Nassos

Marta Galimany has won the 10Km of the B100 Cursa dels Nassos and has surpassed the absolute Catalan record, race record and European Master M40 record with a spectacular 31.33, improving the 31'59 of Meritxell Soler achieved in the Bombers race. Second was Douae Ouboukir with 32.40, despite participating earlier in the 5K and Carla Domínguez closed the podium, with 33.45.

In the men's category Abdessamad Oukhelfen has won the 10Km with a spectacular 27'59, improving the race record that Carles Castillejo had since 2009, with 28'29. Oukhelfen was followed by Ismail Atriki, with 29:14, followed by Annasse Mahboub, with the same time.

The more than 13.000 bibs were sold out 12 days before the race. As many as 23 athletes in the male category have fallen below 30 minutes, a record for a Catalan homologated 10km race.
